DESIGN ORIENTATION CAMP IS THE SHIT.
hahaha like seriously,
cause its damn fun and damn exhausted.
i've never felt so exhausted for a very very very long time in my life, consecutively for 5 days and 4 nights straight. haha damn chalat ah. at the end i looked damn tired, black & skinnier.
but it was really worth it.
and the feeling was really overwhelming & heartwarming.
and i was so touched when few of them actually mentioned i was the best GL.
what more, the best camp they've ever been to.
purpose of me to be a GL:
to inspire the freshies like how i've ben inspired by my GL last year
and i hope i've accomplished my mission.
it felt great.
it was my first time in these kinda occasions.
where you are in these big very very very big crowd [which forever makes me have these goose bumps], and for the first time, i wasn't sitting down...i was standing up, taking charge, of the freshies. the feeling was damn awesome i tell you.
but not all times where happy times though.
there were some hard times where you are forced to hear the ugly truth about yourself.
you cant help being angry and disgusted by your own being.
you cant help but to almost cry.
but then again, these are what that make me realise my mistakes, so i learn from it. it's tough though, not being so absent-minded and stuffs like that. cause i have to admit, im a lil thick-skinned too lah. but that's just me i guess.
and for regatta!
i think we design are awesome to the max.
we finally proved to those people who take dragonboat for serious that people who don't dragonboat can always win.
freshies guys won 2nd.
freshies girls won 2nd.
lecturers [if im not wrong] won 1st.
SENIORS GIRLS WON 2ND. ohh yeaaaahh baby! i got to bring home a medal :DDDDD we damn happy lah okay. so those practises in bedok reservoir are not gone to waste.
i don't know what position the seniors guys get though.
whatever it is, all of us deserve a pat on the back, or more :)
AND
WE WON DESIGN THE BEST SPIRITED AWARD.
